In this hall there are traditions; mode of life, handicraft and national features which have appeared long ago, came to us in processed form shown by Turkmen ethnographers.

Hall of history begins with a map of archaeological and historical monuments situated in Dashoguz velayat. There are shown findings from Chyryshly, VI-V m.B.C., antique Kaparas, exactly IVcentury B.C.-Vcentury A.D., blooming in Middle Ages Sadvar and fragments of buildings from Kunyaurgench.

Origins of Turkmen fine arts begin long ago. In early period fine arts consist of creating products of ceramics, articles of adornment, architectural finish. Those years were used natural dyes. In middle ages art of adorning by angob, enamel and mosaic achieved a high degree. In 20-s of XX century there appeared first works of painting, graphics and sculpture.

During the years of Independence fine arts were developed and at the epoch of new Revival are being perfected.

Dashoguz velayat is located in the north of our country, in a left-bank part of the lower Amudarya. Its area is 73, 43 thousand. km2. In the north it borders with Ustyurt plateau, in the south with Zaunguz desert. Ancient, now dry riverbeds of the Amudarya cross the plain from the east to the west.

In Dashoguz velayat are carried out works on development of economics. The workflow is shown in the hall of Independence.

Dashoguz velayat is located in the north of the country. It is one of the richest regions in manpower resources; therefore velayat brings the worthy contribution to development of national economics.

 Gas-compressor stations "Deryalyk" and «Yylanly» give the chance to supply foreign countries with "blue fuel» of Turkmenistan.
