HALL OF FINE ARTS

Origins of Turkmen fine arts begin long ago. In early period fine arts consist of creating products of ceramics, articles of adornment, architectural finish. Those years were used natural dyes. In middle ages art of adorning by angob, enamel and mosaic achieved a high degree. In 20-s of XX century there appeared first works of painting, graphics and sculpture.

During the years of Independence fine arts were developed and at the epoch of new Revival are being perfected.

There are ceramics and works of art in the section of fine arts of Dashoguz museum of History and local lore representing historical places and historical figures of Dashoguz velayat.

Now it became a task of modern artists to enrich section of fine arts. Our painters, who have passed creative development during the epoch of Revival, produced works showing achievements of our country and spiritual world of people. In exposition are shown works of well-known artists H.Annacharyyev, D.Bayramov, S.Meredov, G.Guseynov, sculptores B,Annamyradov, S.Babayev and ceramist S.Mukhammedova.

Works of Turkmen artists, created during the years of independence, ancient origin of Turkmen art, learning of different styles of handicraft, particularly pottery, are of great importance in learning culture, history and art of the people that have lived in Turkmenistan.

Epoch of reforms, which has begun in our country by initiative of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and includes all courses of revival, became an epoch of spiritual rise and creative activity for Turkmen artists.
